The City of Boca Raton’s Ordinance 5074 requires that each alarm system (commercial and/ or non-residential) and alarm monitoring companies to be registered with the city. Registration allows the city to respond to emergency situations more efficiently and safely. Registrations are effective for 12 months and are required to be renewed by January 1st of each year. Fees shall be paid in accordance with the City of Boca Raton Municipal Facilities and Services User Fee Schedule.

FALSE ALARM INFORMATION:
Any false alarm requiring the police services department and/or the fire rescue services department to respond, including false alarms at single-family residences, constitutes a public nuisance. All alarm system users shall be subject to a service fee for false alarms, to be established by resolution and set forth in the city municipal facilities and services user fee schedule.
