Fundraising walk to support The Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

The Freestyle Festival is an event where many of the genre's top Artists come together and perform their classic 80's hits of this wonderful era. This will be an outdoor event with live DJ music, food, drinks, wine and much more. Gates will open at 4pm and Showtime will be at exactly 6pm all ages are welcomed.

The top Freestyle Artist will take the stage and perform all your favorite Freestyle songs live, it will be one of the biggest concerts of the year.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER

Fundraising walk to support The American Cancer Society

Saturday, October 24th, 2015 6:30 a.m. registration  I  8 a.m. walk

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight against breast cancer. Passionate walk participants raise critical funds that enable the American Cancer Society to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and help people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it is most treatable.

FAU BAND-O-RAMA!

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015, Concert begins at 7:00PM

A concert spectacular! The FAU Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and the Marching Owls combine forces to present a concert so big, only the Mizner Park Amphitheater could hold it! Over 200 musicians will create a surround-sound experience of music for the whole family. The seventh annual FAU Band O Rama brings the great FAU University, our amazing city, and the beautiful Mizner Park together in a concert that has become a Boca Raton tradition!

Blankets and chairs are welcome, chairs will also be available to rent. Please leave all pets, outside food and beverages, and umbrellas at home. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Free overflow parking is always available at city hall and the downtown library, a short walk from the amphitheater.  

HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

Benise kicks off his 10 Year Anniversary Tour with a new PBS Special and DVD – ‘Benise: Strings of Passion,’ a Special Edition 2-CD Set and also releases his first book, ‘Benise: The Notes Less Traveled.’
