Camino Real Boulevard Intracoastal Waterway Bridge
CLOSED: April 12, 2018 at 5:00 A.M., to approximately May 12, 2019
The Camino Real Intracoastal Waterway Bridge project, overseen by Palm Beach County Roads & Bridges, will result in a complete renovation of the existing Camino Real bridge. The renovation will require the complete closure of the Camino Real bridge to vehicles and pedestrians for a period lasting approximately 13 months. Vehicle access to buildings located along the north end of Spanish River Road will only be available from Ponce De Leon Rd. Marine traffic wishing to navigate under the bridge during this time is restricted to half-channel (41ft wide) under the bridge. Vessels requiring additional clearance must provide 6 hour notice for a full channel clearance by contacting the Kiewit Project Manager at 301-740-4483. At times, the entire channel may be closed; these times will be scheduled with USCG and published on the Local Notice to Mariners.
Palmetto Park Road I-95 Southbound Entrance Ramps
CLOSED: September 23 to September 27, nightly from 11:30pm to 5:30am
The I-95 southbound entrance ramps from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11:30pm until 5:30am, Sunday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 27. Traffic will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Partial Road (Lane) Closures
Butts Road, Town Center Road and NW 6th Avenue
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY: Monday, October 1, 2018 to Wednesday, October 31, 2018
The City of Boca Raton will be implementing a pavement resurfacing and striping project on segments of Butts Road and Town Center Road between Glades Road and Military Trail beginning October 1, 2018. There will be intermittent lane closures between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday and construction will last for approximately two weeks. Construction will begin on October 15 along NW 6th Avenue. During construction, the roadways will be open to vehicles, although traffic should seek alternate routes during this period. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY: Monday, March 12, 2018 to approximately Monday, October 8, 2018
SW 18th Street, between Dixie Highway and the El Rio Canal
The City of Boca Raton will be completing a roadway improvement/utility project on a segment of SW 18th Street from the El Rio Canal to Dixie Highway. Construction work is scheduled to begin March 12, 2018 and extend for a duration of 210 days (weather and schedule permitting). During construction the roadway will be open to vehicles, although traffic should seek alternate routes during this period.
Clint Moore Road, between Florida's Turnpike and Jog Road
PARTIAL LANE CLOSURE: Friday, June 15, 2018 to approximately Thursday, September 13, 2018.
The existing medians along Clint Moore Road that extend from the Florida Turnpike to Jog Road are scheduled for a landscaping beautification and irrigation improvement project. The work began June 15 and extends for a duration of approximately 90 days.
Camino Real, between SW 15th Avenue and CSX Railroad (West of I-95)
PARTIAL LANE CLOSURE: 5:00 A.M. Monday, July 16, 2018 until 5:00 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2018.
As part of the I-95 Express Phase 3B-1, FDOT will be doing foundation work which requires closing one travel lane on each direction along Camino Real. The lanes will be closed day and night starting 5:00 A.M. Monday, July 29, 2018 until 5:00 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2018. After Friday, August 10, 2018, lanes will be closed daily Monday through Saturday between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M until Friday, December 14, 2018.
S Federal Hwy, between SE 7th Street and SE 9th Street
PARTIAL LANE CLOSURE: Monday, July 2, 2018 to approximately Monday, August 13, 2018.
The developer for the Via Mizner project located at 700 S. Federal Hwy will be installing a new water main beginning July 2. As part of the utility infrastructure improvements, the northbound outside travel lane on Federal Hwy from about SE 7th Street to about SE 9th Street will be closed for a duration of approximately 4-6 weeks.
