Full (All-Lane) Road and Trail Closures
SW 18th Street, at the FEC Railroad Crossing (just west of Dixie Highway)
CLOSED: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 5:00 A.M. to Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 5:00 P.M.
The Florida East Coast (FEC) Railroad will be closing SW 18th St at the railroad crossing just west of Dixie Hwy tentatively starting 5am March 13, 2018 and ending 5pm March 17, 2018 to perform typical at-grade railroad crossing surface maintenance.
Meadows Road, at the 900 block (adjacent to Boca Raton Regional Hospital)
CLOSED: Wednesday, March 14, 2018 to approximately Monday, March 19, 2018
Due to a utility emergency repair, a segment of 901 Meadows Road will be closed to all vehicle traffic during the next four to five days. All traffic needed to access Boca Raton Regional Hospital is directed to detour by accessing Meadows Road from NW 13th Street.
Camino Real Boulevard Intracoastal Waterway Bridge
CLOSED: April 12, 2018 to approximately April 12, 2019
The Camino Real Intracoastal Waterway Bridge project, overseen by Palm Beach County Roads & Bridges, will result in a complete renovation of the existing Camino Real bridge. The renovation will require the complete closure of the Camino Real bridge to vehicles and pedestrians for a period lasting approximately 12 months. Marine traffic wishing to navigate under the bridge during this time may be restricted by vessel width. Updates will be provided when restriction details are finalized by the United States Coast Guard.
Partial Road (Lane) Closures
Military Trail, between the Broward County Line and Palmetto Park Road
TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES: Sunday, March 11, 2018 to approximately Saturday, March 31, 2018, during nighttime hours.
Palm Beach County will be resurfacing Military Trail from the County Line to Palmetto Park Road . The tentative start date is March 11, 2018 (weather and schedule permitting). The project will be completed using nighttime operations and have temporary lane closures. The work duration will be approximately 20 days.
SW 18th Street, between Dixie Highway and the El Rio Canal
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY: Monday, March 12, 2018 to approximately Monday, October 8, 2018
The City of Boca Raton will be completing a roadway improvement/utility project on a segment of SW 18th Street from the El Rio Canal to Dixie Highway. Construction work is scheduled to begin March 12, 2018 and extend for a duration of 210 days (weather and schedule permitting). During construction the roadway will be open to vehicles, although traffic should seek alternate routes during this period.
Roads marked in Red represent a full (all-lane) closure. Roads marked in Yellow represent a partial (lane) road closure.
