Road Work

Allegiance Crane & Equipment will be placing a crane in the ROW on SE 3rd Street to hoist roofing materials to the roof top of  233 S Federal Hwy  (Boca Grand Condo).  Allegiance Crane & Equipment will work on Friday 9/25/20 removing roofing materials from the roof top. Please see attached file proposed work location and MOT approved plans and FDOT approved permit.

Operation Notes

  • Day time operation 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM 
  • Pedestrian detours will be coordinated by the MOT employees on site. 
  • Contractor will have flagmen at both ends of the closed street.
  • Control Devices may need to be adjusted to fit field conditions. 
  • The schedule of work can be affected by weather.

I-95 EXPRESS LANES - FDOT PROJECT from SW 10th Street to south of Glades Rd.

I-95 Traffic Impacts

I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, between SW 10th Street and Glades Road, as needed, Sunday through Thursday, with the first lane closing at 8:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 9:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 10:30 p.m. until 7 a.m.

  • I-95 between Hillsboro Boulevard and Glades Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. for median drilled shaft construction.
  • I-95 northbound from north of SW 10th Street to south of Glades Road will have a new traffic pattern beginning Thursday morning, June 4. Traffic will be shifted to the outside and placed into final configuration.
  • I-95 Southbound Full Closure Advanced Notice: I-95 southbound lanes at Glades Road will be closed to traffic overnight, Tuesday night, Sept. 22 for overhead sign structure installation. The first lane will close at 9:30 p.m., the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11:30 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning. Traffic will be detoured via the southbound exit ramp to Glades Road, St. Andrew’s Boulevard and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Wednesday night, Sept. 23 will be used as a contingency night if needed.
  • I-95 Northbound Full Closure Advanced Notice: I-95 northbound lanes at Palmetto Park Road will be closed to traffic overnight, Thursday night, Sept. 24 and Thursday night, Sept. 24, for overhead sign structure installation. The first lane will close at 9:30 p.m., the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11:30 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via the northbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road, N. Dixie Highway and Glades Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Sunday, September 27 will be used as a contingency night if needed.
  • I-95 Southbound Full Closure Advanced Notice: I-95 southbound lanes at Glades Road will be closed to traffic overnight, Monday night, Oct. 5 and Tuesday night, Oct. 6 for overhead sign structure installation. The first lane will close at 9:30 p.m., the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11:30 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning. Traffic will be detoured via the southbound exit ramp to Glades Road, St. Andrew’s Boulevard and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Wednesday night, Oct. 7 will be used a contingency night if needed.

Sidewalk Closures

  • Full Sidewalk Closure Notice: Palmetto Park Road, between SW 12th Avenue and Military Trail, will have the south sidewalk closed completely for reconstruction of the Shared Use Path, through Friday morning, Sept. 25. Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured to Camino Real via S. Military Trail and SW 12th Avenue.

Palmetto Park Road Traffic Impact

 As part of the I-95 Express Phase 3B-1:

  • Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:30 a.m.
  • Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Camino Real Traffic Impacts

  • Camino Real at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Ramp Impacts

  • The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 northbound, Hillsboro Boulevard, and Military Trail. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

I-95 Traffic Impact

  • I-95 will have up to four lanes closed in each direction nightly as needed for paving, 9 p.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 9:30 p.m., and the third and fourth lane will close at 10 p.m.
  • Clint Moore Road, from the El Rio Trail to NW 2nd Avenue, will have the eastbound outside lane closed daily, as needed, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Phase 3B-2 Glades Rd to Linton Blvd Ramp Impacts

  • The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via Powerline Road and Jog Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via US-1. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via Powerline Road and Jog Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via US-1. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via Yamato Road and I-95 southbound. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
  • The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Glades Road will be closed nightly as needed for paving, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, beginning Dec. 19. Motorists will be detoured via Palmetto Park and I-95 northbound. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please note that ramp closures will be closed as needed per paving production; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.

Clint Moore Road Sidewalk Improvements

Work includes construction of an 8-foot-wide paved asphalt sidewalk and additional safety enhancements – including pedestrian detectors, signals and an aluminum picket fence on the south side of Clint Moore Road, from the El Rio Trail to NW 2nd Avenue. Project limits do not include the bridge over I-95 which will be replaced under the 95 Express Phase 3B-2 contract.
