The mission of the Financial Services Department is to manage the financial affairs of the City and provide the highest quality fiscal services to the citizens of Boca Raton. With a commitment to integrity, accountability and customer service, the department provides information to the public, to decision makers and to city management. The department safeguards the City’s assets, manages revenue collection, debt management, accounting and financial reporting, investments and cash disbursements.
The City of Boca Raton’s Financial Services Department has received the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Financial Reporting award for the past 38 years and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the past 37 years.
