PLAYFUL PROJECTS

Ages 5-12 years

In this online class, kids will create fun and unique DIY craft projects, taught step by step. Each class will feature a different theme and will include supplies. After you register for a morning OR afternoon session, call 561-347-3900 to schedule your supply bag curbside pick-up. 

JUNE - Canvas Colors 

Create two 6" x 9" canvas artworks using masking tape to design your original patterns - geometric shapes and sun rays.  Your kit comes with a backing to hang your masterpiece.

Virtual Social Skills Classes           

Ages 6-11

Certified therapists lead this class with engaging games and activities like art contests, sensory – building,  and show and tell,  all while helping them make new friends and practice using social skills. The group is open to all children with special needs and the instructor will provide clear instructions with demonstrations on how to complete activities. Class takes place on GoToMeetings.

Promotes: Social Skills, Creativity, Developmental skills

DISCOVER MAGIC

Ages 7-12

AMAZE family and friends this summer with fun magic tricks you’ll learn while focusing on the Eight Traits of a True Magician: Respectful, Prepared, Enthusiastic, Confident, Humble, Creative, Authentic, and Giving. Enroll in the Discover Magic Purple Wand or Green Wand Course, or both! Each contains completely different lessons and tricks.  No prior experience needed for either course.  

 Discover Magic uses extraordinary FUN to make great kids appear! Promotes critical thinking, empathy, communication skills, public speaking skills, and creativity. Registration ends at 3pm on the Friday prior to the first day of the program.

 A materials fee of $60 (Discover Magic Kit) is paid to the instructor after registering (instructor will contact you with details). The fee includes printed materials for the lessons, props, a carrying case, access to the online Video Vault, and an exclusive graduation certificate. We will contact you to schedule a pick-up of the Magic Kit when it becomes available prior to the start of class.

MIND GAMES

Ages 6-12

An enrichment program that helps students improve academic achievement through S.T.E.M. based game play.  Students will be introduced to various educational games that focus on several areas such as: critical thinking, focus and attention, memory, sportsmanship, and life skills. After registering, the instructor will contact you regarding access to the games for the week.

FUTURE VETERINARIANS

Ages 5-11

Participants of this virtual program will *adopt* a plush animal to perform mock exams, surgeries, and other procedures. Class will culminate in a mock Vet School graduation. Promotes critical thinking, communication, creativity, and problem-solving. After registering, the instructor will contact you regarding the pickup of your Future Veterinarians Kit and payment of the $25 Materials Fee (stethoscope, gloves, Future Vet t-shirt, adopted plush pet) for the kit. Registration ends at 3pm on June 25.

ENGINEERING GADGETS

Ages 7-10

Does your child like to explore and take apart gadgets? In a collaborative, team-oriented environment, participants will learn about different fields of engineering and be encouraged to use the Engineering Design Process to construct and program their unique machines. They will be able to think outside the box to customize and code their masterpieces! Participants will explore STEAM topics, make friends who share their passion, and create gadgets from day one. Promotes: information & media literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and interpersonal and collaborative skills. Registration ends at 12pm on June 20th.

ENCHANTED WORLDS

Ages 5-6

This camp focuses on getting young learners more interested in becoming creators and innovators. Through a fun and exciting curriculum, participants will work in a team-oriented atmosphere, where they are challenged with different tasks each day. Along with teaching your child the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and leadership, your little one will build and program robots as well as take part in other STEM challenges. By the end of the week, your child will learn basic coding principles and will be a role model for other young kids they meet. Promotes: information & media literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and interpersonal and collaborative skills. Registration ends at 5pm July 31st.
