Website Renovation City Website ADA Renovation

The City of Boca Raton makes every effort to provide a robust and informative website that is accessible to everyone, including those who use assistive devices. We are currently reviewing and updating www.myboca.us to ensure that the documents, forms and information on the site meet the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA), our web accessibility standard.

Our goal is to provide easy access to information and documents and transparency in City business. However, a recent lawsuit has brought to our attention that many of the PDF documents and forms on our site may not be accessible to those who use assistive devices, like screen readers. For that reason, we began to remove and remediate PDF documents in early 2019, and it will be a continual effort in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience if you experience broken links or missing documents and forms as they are remediated.

During this renovation period, we will be assessing the content on the site, removing documents that are not compliant, and removing links to some external sites and resources. Many of these documents will be remediated and re-posted as staff and resources are available to update documents.

If you do encounter an accessibility issue, please contact us and be sure to specify the web page and any other relevant information to help us identify the issue, and we will make all reasonable efforts to make that page accessible for you. Upon request, the City will provide, within a reasonable time, a qualified reader who can read to any visually impaired person who may experience any accessibility issues with any information and material published on this website.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to renovate the website, making it thorough, informative and accessible for all.
