CareerSource Florida is the statewide workforce policy and investment board. Their partners include the Department of Commerce, 24 local workforce development boards and 100 career centers throughout Florida. They assist in connecting businesses with the talented workforce and training needed to succeed and grow.
The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) offers high-level consulting and training to small and medium-sized businesses in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The Florida SBDC at FAU has access to robust databases, business research resources and knowledgeable expert consultants who can help business owners and entrepreneurs successfully navigate the obstacles that come with the stages of the business life cycle, providing no-cost specialized services to fit their needs.
Since 1964, SCORE has helped more than 11 million entrepreneurs start, grow or successfully exit a business. SCORE's 10,000 volunteers provide free, expert mentoring, resources and education in all 50 U.S. states and territories. Services include free mentoring, webinars, courses on demand, online resource library, and local workshops.
The Hispanic Entrepreneurs Initiative (HEI) Florida was founded by entrepreneurs who embody the unique characteristics of being immigrants from Latin America and doing business in the United States. The organization fosters economic prosperity in South Florida through business acculturation training and coaching for SEDI Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners.
