The Boca Raton Police Public Information Office / Media Relations consists of two full-time employees, one civilian and one officer, who act as liaisons between the department, media and the public.
They are responsible for communicating Boca Raton Police messages, which include safety warnings, crime trends, community events, breaking news updates and feature stories.
In addition to maintaining its social media accounts, the office has daily contact with local media, either to answer questions, arrange interviews or facilitate feature stories about the department.
