Calculate Costs & Savings
Calculate how much you could save monthly and yearly by carpooling, vanpooling, biking, walking, or using transit. South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) has information to help you analyze your commute.
Park & Ride Map
Rarely does transportation serve a commuter’s entire trip. Park & Ride parking lots allow commuters a convenience place to park their car to meet their carpool, vanpool, train, or bus. Located along key routes for easy access, parking at most lots is free and secure. The Part & Ride lot in Boca Raton is located at the Yamato Road Tri-Rail Station.
Carpool and Vanpool Matching Services
South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) provides a Carpool Matching service which can help you find someone to share the ride with and start saving money. Fill out a few questions and a personal profile and map of possible carpool matches will be developed based on your specific needs. You’ll then have the opportunity to contact your matches by phone or send them an email.
Carpool Preferred Parking
Many employers in Boca Raton have preferred parking for registered carpools. A list of employers that participate in this program is available at SFCS’s Employer Parking Programs page.
Tri-Rail Pass Discounts
Employees of registered employers in Boca Raton can receive a 25% discount on monthly and 12 trip Tri-Rail passes. The registration form can be found at Tri-Rail’s Employee Discount Program page.
Tri-Rail Station Bicycle Lockers
Commuters can register for the use of secure bicycle lockers available at the Yamato Road Tri-Rail Station within the City of Boca Raton. The lockers provide completely enclosed and secured short-term and long-term storage for bicycles.
Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program
South Florida Commuter Services’ Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program provides free taxi service in the event of an unexpected emergency 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for registered commuters that carpool, vanpool, or take transit to work or college an average of three or more days a week in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
