Volunteer Opportunities

VolunteerBocaBoca Raton, a city for all seasons, has volunteers for all reasons.  From teens to retirees, we have a broad spectrum of volunteer opportunities.

Our volunteers assist City staff at many of our beautiful facilities such as the libraries, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Sugar Sand Park, tennis centers, or coaching youth sports teams.

Volunteers may also assist with Police Services, Fire Rescue Services, and various operational departments within the City. When available, volunteer opportunities exist within our Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) for those who are 18 years of age or older and attend a basic nine-week training course focusing on emergency response. The volunteer assists in providing immediate guidance for victims and their neighborhoods to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster

How To Apply

A volunteer is an individual who, of their own free will, contributes talents, time, and service to a City program without compensation. Please complete the Volunteer Application via the recommended web browsers: Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
