Boat Launch & Recovery Permits

August 26, 2021 Update

As part of the City’s Waterfront Master Plan, construction is set to begin at Silver Palm Park after the Labor Day holiday on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

For the safety of the public and to ensure the construction is completed as quickly as possible, the park and boat ramp will be completely closed for 6 months to all pedestrian, vehicular, and boat traffic.

New boat launch and recovery permits will not be issued until the park reopens once the construction is complete. The City will review and consider pricing and fees associated with permits once we get closer to reopening.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make improvements and enhancements to our waterfront parks. Learn more about this project on the Wildflower / Silver Palm Park webpage.
