The City of Boca Raton's Recreation Services Dept. is launching a campaign for community engagement to determine needs and priorities for the future of Boca Raton's parks, trails, beaches, libraries, recreation facilities, athletic fields, programs and services.

PUBLIC KICK-OFF Meeting
• Thursday, June 13 - 5:30pm to 7pm
• Downtown Boca Raton Library (400 NW 2 Ave)

The City and the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Parks District provided funding for a Recreation Services Community Needs Assessment Survey which will be designed and implemented by PROS Consulting beginning in June 2019 and concluding in February or March of 2020.

"I'm excited for our community to work together to brainstorm new and innovative ideas which can be implemented in the next decade," explained Michael Kalvort, Recreation Services Director.

Phases of the community engagement campaign will include meetings and surveys with residents to learn about their interests and suggestions. The public will be able to follow along with the progress of the Needs Assessment group with updates on the website, and results will be presented in March/April 2020. The results will be used for future space, service and technology planning.
