The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Palm Beach County are hosting Flood Risk Open Houses in communities throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties to help residents learn about the newly updated flood maps. Community officials and FEMA representatives will be on hand to answer citizen’s questions about the maps, the mapping process and flood insurance.

During the meetings, residents can locate their property on the new flood map and talk to members of the project team, flood insurance professionals, and state and local officials about what the information might mean for their property.
