Midtown GIF from May 23

The area known as “midtown” is generally located between Glades Road to the north and Town Center Road to the south and between Butts Road to the west and the CSX/Tri Rail tracks to the east. City staff, along with consultants from Community Marine & Water Resource Planning & LARCH Design Plus, have begun the process of creating a vision for the Midtown area called a “Small Area Plan.”  The City of Boca Raton is held its first visioning session for the Midtown Small Area Plan on May 23 at the Spanish River Library with over 150 people in attendance.

Attendees shared their visions for the opportunities and challenges of creating this small area plan in the center of Boca Raton. The City’s consultant gave a brief presentation and lead the visioning session.
