Two City Council Seats and Two Charter Changes on March 9 Ballot

Boca Raton will hold a municipal election on March 9, 2021 to fill City Council Seats C and D. In addition, the electorate will also be voting on two City Charter amendments that pertain to requirements for City Council candidates. 

Qualified Candidates for Seat C include:

  • Yvette Drucker
  • Bernard Korn
  • Josie Machovec
  • Constance Scott

Qualified Candidates for Seat D include:

  • Monica Mayotte
  • Brian Stenberg

There are two ballot questions that electors will vote on;

  1. Amending the Residency Requirements for City Council Candidates (Including Candidates for Mayor)
  2. Requiring Signatures of 200 Electors to Qualify as a Candidate for City Council and Mayor

  • The deadline to register to vote in the March 9 Municipal Election is Monday, February 8. You can register to vote on the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website.
  • The deadline to request a Vote by Mail ballot is Saturday, February 27, 5pm.
  • There is no on-site early voting in the municipal election.
