Construction Note

 The City of Boca Raton is in the beginning phases of undertaking an extensive restoration project at both James A. Rutherford and Lake Wyman Parks. The restoration project is expected to include boat ramps, kayak launch, parking, access, canoe trail revitalization, boardwalk replacement, exotic vegetation removal, mangrove habitat establishment and enhancement and coastal hammock development. Lake Wyman Park is 8.3 acres in size.  
Seating is available.  
Restrooms are available. 
Walking track: .39 miles with exercise stations.


Parking is free.


There is 1 large pavilion that may be reserved. Pavilions are equipped with picnic tables and grills. Features & capacity may vary, please see below for pavilion specifics.  For availability and reservation information please call (561) 393-7815. 


Rental Fees

  • Residents
    • Any day of the week: $75.00
  • Non-Residents
    • Any day of the week: $150.00

Special Event Permits: 

If you are interested in hiring outside vendors (bounce houses, food vendors, entertainers etc.) for your event at this location, you will be required to obtain a Special Event Permit. Please contact Boca Raton Community Center for more information  (561) 393-7807.  


Athletic Fields & Courts 

Athletic fields & courts at Lake Wyman are available for public use on a first come, first served basis when not otherwise in use by permitted activities. Athletic fields are only lit after sunset when permit is obtained. 


Park Rules & Regulations 


Fires are only permitted in the designated grills. Please remember that materials such as coal and lighters are not provided. You are required to carefully monitor and extinguish your fire once you are finished grilling. After use, please clean up the grill area to ensure the next user has a pleasant grilling experience. 



Feeding, harming, or otherwise interacting with wildlife is strictly prohibited. (Municode Sec. 11-7)
