1. This is my first time attending an event at Mizner Park Amp, what should I know?

Mizner Park Amphitheater is owned and operated by The City of Boca Raton. We typically categorize our events into a few different types.

1. City Sponsored Event: Some great examples are our Summer Series, Polar Express, and Band-O-Rama. Our City Sponsored events are free and open to the public. At these events you are permitted to bring your own chair or blanket, typically chairs are available to rent onsite for $5 cash. Outside food, beverage, pets are not permitted in the Amphitheater.

2.Ticketed Event/Concert: Our most popular ticketed events are promoted by AEG Live and Live Nation, however we do have different promoters host ticketed events at The Amphitheater. Mizner Park Amphitheater does not sell tickets before the event as we do not have a box office. A box office will be set up day of by the event coordinator/promoter. For these events, tickets can be purchased directly though the coordinator/promoter, please see individual event for more details. Chairs are not permitted in the Amphitheater during ticketed events.Outside food, beverage, pets are not permitted in the Amphitheater.

3. Free and Open to the Public Events: At times the venue will be rented by a promoter to host an event that is free and open to the public, such as Yoga, Charity Walks, Expos, and more. These event details vary dependent on the event host, please see the event's official website for more details on seating. Outside food, beverage, pets are not permitted in the Amphitheater.

2. Who can use the amphitheater?

The Mizner Park Amphitheater is owned and operated by the City of Boca Raton, and can be rented by private or non-profit organizations for various functions including concerts, performances, fundraising events and festivals. If you are interested in renting the facility, please review the Rental Fees and then complete the Rental Application for review and approval. 3. What is the first step I take if I'm interested in renting the amphitheater?

The first step is to review the Rental Fees and requirements for using the facility. The rental worksheet is designed to help you understand some of the costs and considerations of using the amphitheater for your event. The next step is to complete our Rental Application and send to MiznerAmp@myboca.us. Upon review and approval, a Cultural Facilities representative will contact you to discuss the availability of the date(s) you are requesting, and help guide you through the next steps.

4. I lost something at the amphitheater. Who can I contact about any items that lost or found?

Call City Hall at 561-393-7700.

5. Can I purchase tickets through the City, or at an on site box office?

The box office for concerts is open after Noon on the day of the show. It is outside the entrance to the amphitheater and is operated by the promoter of the concert. The website should have links for tickets. The City of Boca Raton does not sell tickets for concerts.

6. What do I do if it rains?

Most events at the amphitheater are rain or shine, please check your ticket. While we cannot allow umbrellas inside, you may want to bring a poncho or raincoat.

7. What am I allowed / not allowed to bring inside the amphitheater?

Items not allowed inside the amphitheater for events include but not limited to: Umbrellas, pets, outside food, alcoholic beverages, coolers, backpacks, drones, and/or selfie sticks. If the event is ticketed, please check your ticket for restrictions on cameras and video recording devices.

8. If the event is cancelled and I have a ticket, who do I contact?

Check your ticket and contact the ticketing agency or the promoter of the event.

9. I am coming to the amphitheater for a concert. Can I bring my chair in?

If the event is ticketed, you may not bring a chair, but you may be able to bring a blanket, please check your ticket for seating information. If you are attending a free event that is sponsored by the City of Boca Raton, you may usually bring a blanket or chair, but check the website for specifics or call 561-393-7890.

10. Where can I park?

There is limited parking in the garages in Mizner Park. We encourage event attendees to carpool and use off site park and walk options from City Hall, which is located four blocks south west of Mizner Park from NE 2nd Street. For certain events, preferred, paid parking is available in the lot adjacent to the amphitheater and at the First United Methodist Church located on Mizner Blvd. Other parking options include limited on-street, metered parking in Mizner Park and valet service for those patronizing the shops and restaurants.

• On-Street -  Metered on-street parking is also available.
• Valet - Valet service is available next at Ipic, Max's Grille, and Ouzo Bay.
• Paid Parking - Paid, preferred parking is available on concert nights in the lot adjacent to the amphitheater (cash only).
• Free parking - is available just a short walk away at City Hall (201 W Palmetto)

11. What is the Labyrinth on the clocktower?

What is a labyrinth?

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the

imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path.

A labyrinth looks like a maze but is not. A maze is like a puzzle to be solved.

It has twists and turns and dead ends. You have to think and think and be

alert for any clues you may find. A maze can be frustrating, frightening, or

challenging. You can get lost in a maze.

A labyrinth, unlike a maze, has no dead ends. There is only one path, and

while it does have twists and turns, you can’t get lost. The same path takes

you into the labyrinth and out again. With a labyrinth you don’t have to

think, or analyze, or solve a problem.

With a labyrinth you just trust that the path will lead you to where you need

to be.
