The Eco-Watch Lecture Series is celebrating 35 years of Gumbo Limbo! Learn about the past, present, and future of science and conservation. Attend one or all of the presentations by a guest scientist, author, researcher, or other expert. March 24's speaker is Maria Fadiman, PhD Associate Professor, Florida Atlantic University. When an Elder Dies, a Library Burns. Hosted by the beautiful Boca Raton Spanish River Library. Meet on the mezzanine of the library located at 1501 NW Spanish River Boulevard. Reservations can be made online or by calling 561-544-8615. Recommended for ages 14 & up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

    Socrates Cafe gatherings are held around the world, where people from different backgrounds get together and exchange thoughtful ideas and experiences. Persons attending gatherings engage in a common quest for a better understanding of human nature, and in the process strive for a more inclusive world. Socrates Cafe gatherings are free and open to any member of the public who wishes to freely discuss a question which is chosen by vote.
